MY (honest) Covid-19 Experience

2020 started great until the big pandemic happened. I am not going to lie when I say I was one of these people who thought in the beginning that Covid-19 was not a big deal and we can handle it in a short amount of time. Oh, how wrong I was at the beginning. This map shows some stages of my personal experience with Covid-19 and the pandemic here in Austria.

Not everything was negative for me. From March to May my husband worked from home and it was a great time. We cooked and talked a lot. We made fun of all the people who are stockpiled toiled paper, pasta and canned tomatoes.

But I also got a little bit anxious about future and life in general. Every time I had to cough, I instantly thought of Covid-19. Some projects got cancelled and postponed, so I had literally no work during a lot period of time.

Since I am not a very social person (not in a negative way – I just love being around myself more than others), the lockdown was not a big deal for me. But I know that every human is different.

We’re not done yet but it’s slowly getting back to normal for me.
